Here are the varieties that DIG production team is growing or that have been brought in for the 2025 garden season.

We grow our veggies using high quality seeds, Organic Sunshine mix, Organic SeaSoil, Organic Azomite, Organic Perfect Blend 4-4-4, and Orgunique liquid fertilizer.  No Pesticides or Neonicotinoids.  If required we use natural soaps for pests.

Chocolate Bell- unique flesh is cola-red colour, very sweet and delicious 75 days

Gypsy Sweet- Very sweet, fresh floral flavour and thick walls. Favourite for salads and frying, 60 days

Purple Beauty Bell- mildly sweet with a fine, crisp texture. Peppers will turn green when cooked. 75 days

King of the North Bell- good sized sweet, red bell peppers in short, cool seasons.60 days

Eight Ball Hybrid- round, dark green zucchini can be picked at 3-4” size and used for stuffing 48 days

Green Hubbard​- large, winter squash with a hard, bumpy, dark green rind and sweet orange flesh 105 days

Honeybear Acorn​- semi-bush plant producing heart shaped 3 lb fruit with green and white mottled striping. The sweet tasting flesh is thick, orange and fine grained. 90 days

Evans Extra Early- Determinate, Well flavoured firm, red mid-sized tomatoes are carried in large clusters. In Alberta garden trials it regularly ripens some 10-15 days earlier than others. 57 days.

Genuwine- Indeterminate, exceptional taste and slicing quality. A cross between two heirlooms:

European Costoluto Genovese. 72 days.

Lemon Boy-  Indeterminate,  lemon-yellow tomato produces globe shaped. Mild, low acid flavour. 65-75 days

New Girl- Indeterminate, early variety for outstanding flavour and disease resistance, 62 days

San Marzano Roma- Determinate, Roma/Saladette , great to eat fresh, make sauces or for canning 75-90 days

Supremo Roma- Determinate,  perfect for canning or making sauce. Sets fruit early and performs well in mid-summer heat, 68 days

Ultra Girl- Semi-Determinate, Perfect for salads, juice, canning, relishes and cooking. 62 days.
